Why did I choose the Lotus Flower as a logo? The lotus rises beautiful and strong, even in a muddy pond. Just like the lotus, we too can rise from the mud, bloom out of the darkness and radiate into the world, trust in the Light, grow through the dirt and believe in new beginnings.
Grace Space Counselling Therapist's approach is to focus on the stories people tell about their lives. It is a respectful, non-blaming and non-judgemental approach which centres people as the experts of their own lives. The therapist listens to the client’s story with great respect and asks questions to guide the client to a better understanding of their own lives and the stories surrounding their lives. This therapy is called Pastoral Narrative Therapy. I am also a qualified Trauma Unit First Responder and Trauma Counsellor.
